Special Properties

Our flat cages made of alloy steel are manufactured for the highest requirements. They are filled with end-profiled needle rollers and thus guarantee a very high load capacity as well as high stiffness. In addition, they impress with their smooth running. They are a cost-effective alternative to standard bearings. In our assortment there are not only standard lengths, because on request we also manufacture special lengths.

In principle, only rollers of a quality class with a tolerance of 2μm are used and needle rollers of quality class G2 according to DIN 5402-3. High-precision bearings can be manufactured at low cost.

Technical Information

Running surfaces (shaft/housing) must be hardened and polished
Alternatively, corresponding steel bands can be supplied as inner and outer rings
Tolerance shaft/housing: f6/H7
Open butt joint
Lateral contact surface (Ra<0.8) must be wear-resistant

Sealing is carried out with commercially available seals between the bearing and adjacent construction.

Flat cages, radial needle rollers and steel rings are corrosion protected and compact. Before start-up, depending on the lubrication method, the parts must be oiled or greased.

Radial needle rollers with steel rings are supplied ready for installation.

For quality reasons, the cages are monitized in our company with end-profiled needle rollers from a sorting, tested and then packed in a corrosion-protected manner.
